Valency

I was meaning to make a post much earlier but boy did I forget how draining Uni life is! Plus my circadian clock is all out of synch from the holidays so I find myself going to sleep between 12:30 to 1am when I have to wake up at 6:20 the next day! :( On a pleasanter note, here's my new favourite outfit. I've never been one for cute or overtly quirky things but cats are something that I have quite a bit of a soft spot for...so since the first time I laid my eyes on this amazing Antipodium print, I knew I had to get my hands on it :)!

EFFUSION

We're returning to Uni tomorrow as third years after three months of summer break! I'm feeling a little anxious about returning to all that stress. Plus, I'm slightly disappointed that I didn't get near as much done as I wanted to over these holidays. But at the same time, I'm kind of glad that some routine is returning to my life!

 Here's what Tas wore on a little outing we had to treat ourselves to some shopping and the most divine sashimi and sushi in town - I swear it had me dreaming about it the day after. Tasfia's wearing another Romance was born Top she bought this week. But this isn't the last of our RWB madness - she also bought some new season RWB yesterday! We can't help it - RWB has been conjuring up all kinds of irresistible new cool in the last two seasons.

Ok so I've finally jumped aboard the print bandwagon. I think  was feeling a little 'festive' when I put this outfit together. Well anyway I thought, heck, if you're going to wear crazy prints, why not go all out ?! In keeping to no boring bits to this outfit, I teamed it with this amazing crystal jewellery courtesy of Air to My Earth. I love how they are so raw and beautiful and are real "statement"" pieces without having to be overly elaborate. I fell in love with this Romance Was Born Top when I saw a girl wearing it at a studio sale. I then searched to the edges of the the world wide web to get my hands on my own copy! These Romance Was Born pants (from a couple of seasons back) had been sitting idle in my closet for a while now as they were just much too big for either of us. A more feminine outfit I opted for on one of the cooler days last week...I usually stray away from Tan coloured clothing but I like how this Ellery Gem-cer shirt works with my skin tone. Its been hiding out in my closet for a while now and I'm glad to be finally able to take it out for a spin.I teamed it with these delightful shades courtesy of AM eyewear. I've been so lucky with the things I've been scoring at studio sales lately. I was so glad to find this lovely blue number at the Gary Bigeni studio sale last week...As always I am so impressed with Gary Bigeni's simple but luxurious drapery and fabrics...wearing this dress with this lipstick colour makes me feel a bit mermaid-esque (in the best way possible). Yeah I know I'm in desperate need of some new jewellery - there are so many pieces I'm pining over at the moment - just don't know what to choose!

While I was in Japan last month, my first shopping stop was to H&M in hopes of finding some Versace x H&M pieces - but not so unexpectedly they all happened to be sold out! So kind of as a soother I bought myself this black shell top...I love how the rigidity of a shell top contrasts with these charming Romance was Born gem shorts I scored at the studio sale last week. I've found that simplicity is the key to comfort on scorching summer days...
