Tasfia and I have recently developed a rather bad habit of skipping our morning lectures for breakfast at the Emporium or James St. These are the photos from one of those days. Yesterday was our last day at Uni for the semester - meaning all I have left are my evil exams. As I've mentioned, this means lockdown at home for the next 3 weeks :'( but I'll still try to keep some posts pumping your way! On another note, don't forget to enter my fab Boticca giveaway! CORTICAL

So no question as to who the star of this post is! Since I laid my eyes on these delightful 'Day in Paradise' jeans by Mother denim, I've been eager so get my hands on a pair, and almost as eager to share them with you. If you follow me on instagram or twitter, you've probably already had a glimpse of these....I wore this outfit to uni last week, so I can't wait to style it more interestingly next time! So as you may have noticed, I rarely post anything but my own self style but this is one very well worthy exception!

I've been super excited about Chase Dakota's (label by my fellow blogger friend and jewellery designer, Sammi) new jewellery collection - particularly after seeing the amazing bling that Sammi is always adorned in...But the outcome is somehow even more exciting than I'd expected!

Her jewellery is of my favourite kind (which I rarely see around much anymore) -the minimalistic indulgent kind  which just seems to spice up any look... my absolute favourites are the thorn ring and necklace but I am tempted to buy everything.... Photos from a lazy Saturday just generally frolicking about town with Emily and Tasfia, shopping around and eating tasty things...The weather is so perfect at the moment - its just cold enough for layering without it being painfully cold! I'm feeling a little down about the fact that I only have a week left of Uni and then exams! which pretty much means total lockdown at home for three weeks...eeeek! I feel like I need to do something super relaxing soon to prepare myself for the toils of the next few weeks! any suggestions?  Oh but I guess I do have a little motivation to get myself through it... I'll be going overseas, and for a little getaway to Turkey! I can't wait to take a dip in those beautiful Mediterranean beaches and feast on delicious turkish food - It gets me a little hyped up just thinking about it! I'm a little impressed at myself about getting a new post ready for you so soon after the event (last night!) ... So ever since Felix & Slink's swanky young emerging designer's party last year, I've been looking forward to their newest event, the "Secret Party" - the 'Secret' just happening to be a fresh new band they'll be representing! and of course the party was far from a let down...loved the general ambience, the spiffy crowd and I can't help but adding, one of the highlights of the night was their interesting food choice -super delicious burritos! xxx

DIFFERENTIAL

Last Wednesday I took a little break from the toils of Uni and went to the Westfield GC Stylist's apprentice grand finale party.It also involved a little runway showcase of some spiffy looks that the finalists had put together. It was rather exciting seeing so much fresh talent showcased! But very sadly, the contestants I was rooting for didn't win :'( (waah!). Other than that, it was a swanky event and I loved its grunge-glamour set up...Oh and any event with delicious sushi as finger food and neat goody bags are always winners for me...hehe
