SUBLIMATION

There a few things that excite me more than chance encountering a spiffy new undiscovered print - like the one in this dress by Fame Agenda. Fame Agenda is this cool store in Melbourne Central that I visited earlier on this year, that stocks designers along the likes of House of Holland, Romance was Born, Stolen Girlfriend's club...but boy was a glad to discover their in house label, while browsing through their online store last week. This print and it's repetition reminds me of Orwell's 1984. Plus I love how the loudness of the body print is toned down with the airy sleeves with a subtle print. Tasfia is wearing probably the tiniest mini skirt I've ever seen. Since she first came across this This Friend of Mine beauty, she's been tossing over whether or not to buy it but of course she caved in the end. Besides the point that it has a wicked hemline, and is super tiny, the greatest perk of this skirt is that it creates the illusion that you're a couple of inches taller than you are - I mean, would you guess that Tasfia (and I) are only 5"5? Genius! hehe :D

CRYPSIS

Tasfia and I have this crazy situation where she has an abundance of winter clothing and I have not so much while I have a load of summer clothing, while she has a huge shortage. This pretty much results in my turning to her wardrobe time after time during the winter months. So a few weekends ago, on one of our customary weekly twin gluttony/relaxation days of shopping and brunch - I took Tasfia's super indulgent but super comfy Claude Maus fur/leather jacket out for a spin. Tasfia wore a number of gems she bought back in Istanbul. Tasfia goes through phases of outerwear obsession - first it was her Ksubi blazer, and now it's this spiffy Rag and Bone leather jacket that you can't get off of her.

Here we are, wearing our favourite (sort of)little black dresses...

The moment I first saw this Sara Phillips dress in store in Brisbane, I was head over heels i love with it - Nothing can draw me in like a beautiful print, especially one with cool critters. But it wasn't left in my size! So i search for it far and wide but with no luck until by chance I came across on my trip to Melbourne earlier this year. Sara Phillips sure has a way with prints - have you folks seen the newest collection?! It is so neat.Oh and Tasfia is wearing her super rad favourite dress by Ksubi.

Binary

For the past week, I've been having one of those 'I've got nothing to wear' dilemmas and have been hating on everything I have in my closet. This called for a much needed shopping/general relaxation day with the twin. I opted for this stunner of a top from the Romance was Born 'Miraculous Mundane' precollection I've been obsessing over. It was hardly right for the cold weather - but It was exactly the kind of thing I felt like wearing - Maybe a kind of rebellion against these evil winter times. Tasfia has been looking out for that perfect bomber jacket for a while now and I can't think of a better number (than this one) that she could have chosen - I mean, what could beat shiny metallic leather!

1. I am a sucker for sweet treats. This is a delicious cake trio I had for afternoon tea in Turkey. This is a classic Fabliha move - I can never choose what I wan't so I try out a few different things!

6. Sometimes there is nothing better than lazing around in bed with a bowl of delicious cherries and a delightful book i.e. my illustrated Origin of Species. Oh and these glasses are by Chanel. 

7. Divine french toast with stewed rhubarb from Campos in the Valley - definitely worth the long wait! Pairing it with some green tea makes it the perfect breakfast/brunch
8.Hanging around with this delightfully fashionable posse - Sammi, Bianca, Fran, Tasfia, Kaity and Chloe!
