INSTAUPDATE - OCTOBER

Instagram is such a nifty part of my life that I love paying it a lovely little monthly homage on the blog.  October has been a super busy month for me, in more ways then one. For starters it was our 20th birthday this month and so we were showered with love and fun times with our pals. October also had its fair share of fun events, tasty treats and sadly also a bucket load of uni assignments due before I dive into final exams next month! For the past week I've been under complete house arrest, studying for exams and eating my weight in sugary goodies to get me through it! I've got a heap of exciting posts to share with you though over the next few days so stay tuned if you please. Sorry about the repitition if you are already following me).Oh and my id is @fablihareza if you aren't but now are keen :D

KA-POW

I'm not one to usually get caught up in trends but this recent hype about pop art is definitely something I'm a part of! This Pop-art sweater from Front Row Shop is probably my favourite manifestation of this delightful craze! Luckily we had a rather windy day recently so I had the chance to take it out for a spin in this otherwise scorching weather! I paired it with this silver-leather (look) skirt, also from Front Row Shop. Leather and metallics have  been loves of mine and so their fusion in this skirt is a dream combo!

CEREBRAL

Do you have any of those wardrobe staples that you turn to time and time again? well this Antipodium patchwork dress is just that for me - I have literally worn it over 20 times in the last two months! Tasfia is wearing these delightful overall's from Emma Mulholland's newest collection, 'As Bad as I Guana Be'. Usually for designers that catch my interest, there are a few pieces in their collections that I feel that I absolutely must have but when I saw this Emma Mulholland collection - I felt as if I wanted absolutely everything! This is the first addition to our Emma Mulholland collection but soon another piece will be mine! can you guess what? Tasfia paired this little ensemble with these sick Molten Relic earrings. We've never been a huge fan of earrings, but these have gotten us converted!

Exams are almost knocking on my door but all I can think about at the moment is the looong summer vacation following it! Here are some old pix of us in some of our favourite spring prints (Tasfia finally got past the fact that she didn't want to share her piercing with you, hehe :D)...

OSSCILLATION

It is getting to that busy point at the end of the University semester where exams are right out the corner, and so we've been trying to make the best use of the free time we have while we can! Besides that, this is my fave time of year, not only because my birthday is very soon but because the weather is perfect - shorts wearable but still long sleeve permissible - so it was the perfect opportunity to wear this delightful August Street ensemble! I always start of wanting to save cool new things to first wear on an occasion but in this case I just caved and wore it to Uni yesterday!  Usually working together so many different prints and colours in one piece either ends up a busy mess, but sometimes, when pieced together correctly,  it can be an absolute wonder - and in this case it is definitely the latter :)
